DOG OBEDIENCE TRAINING
As a result of training over 13,000 dogs during my 30-year career as a dog obedience instructor, I have developed an effective method of training using a balance of praise and love as a motivator, not treats. With this method of training, dogs are truly trained and not just kitchen trained. All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations. One handler per dog in class but entire family welcome to attend.
BEGINNING DOG OBEDIENCE
Dogs 5 months and older.
All classes run 10 weeks - $150
The handler must be old enough to have control over the dog. A six-foot leather leash and a properly fitted chain collar are required. Dogs are motivated using praise not treats and are trained to respond to first command. Dogs are taught to heel without pulling, automatic sits, sit and down stay during distractions while the handlers are out of sight, come immediately when called off leash, stand stay.
